New Road Connection

The City of Dripping Springs is considering a revision to its transportation plan that will impact the Springlake Neighborhood. The plan includes a road connection between Hidden Springs Phase II and Springlake Drive.

Yes, this is essentially the same connection that the Association opposed when the plan was discussed and adopted by the City last year. However, the City now wants to find ways to address the negative issues associated with the connection and protect the potential benefits.

The City's development coordinator, Jon Thompson, and the City Engineer will be available to discuss this update to the transportation plan at an upcoming Board meeting. Details TBA.

Annual Meeting

The SPOA's annual meeting will be held on March 15th at the Dripping Springs Water Supply Corportation's offices at 101 Hays Street in Dripping Springs, just south of the new Walgreens.

TRCC Now Requires Inspections

The Texas Residential Construction Commission recenty announced that it now requires three inspections during construction of a new home or addition to a home: pre-foundation pour, pre-drywall, and final. The inspections are required for any area not otherwise governed by construction standards and inspections.

Hays County Road Bond Public Meeting

Hays County and the Hays County Bond Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting for our precinct (4) on Wednesday, July 30 from 6PM to 8PM at Dripping Springs City Hall, 511 Mercer.

Combined Board/ACC/Zoning Meeting Tonight

Tonight's regularly scheduled Board meeting will also include a re-convening of the ACC, as well as a discussion on the City of Dripping Springs' proposed re-zoning of a Springlake property. The meeting starts at 7:00 PM at the Dripping Springs United Methodist Church. Check the dry erase board for the room number.
